Troubleshooting Steps
- Plug your PC directly into a wall outlet, avoiding power strips or surge protectors, to ensure a stable power supply.
- Check and reseat all motherboard connections as detailed in the PC Won’t Boot section.
- If the PC is still power cycling, try removing one memory stick:
- Push the latch at the top of the right memory stick to release it.
- Repeat the process for the latch at the bottom of the same memory stick.
- Once removed, try booting the PC with the remaining memory stick installed.

🚨
Pay close attention to the PC’s boot behavior after you remove the first memory stick. Connect your HDMI or DP and see if you’re able to get a display. If it no longer power cycles, this can be a sign of faulty memory. If the PC continues to power cycle, swap in the first stick and take out the one you just slotted in.
